House Special
When Portland’s pioneering animation studio spun off from parent Laika/house to continue a rich story of making all things move, they landed a space in the Bison Building. The warehouse building is a remarkable example of no frills industrial architecture built in the war era. It is a large space that came with a coal-fired boiler and a bridge crane. We added a fabrication shop, a couple of bathrooms and let them get to work.
